5 foot 1 inch hole in airplane while in flight

 An airplane going to California from Arizona was flying over arizona an all the sudden a huge hole tore in the top of the airplane.People were terrified and the plane dropped 11000 feet in a nose dive but the pilot regained control and landed in a near by military base. The boeing aircraft is now under investigation as to what may have caused thids hole.

           This article caught my eye due to the recent events in Japan. It basically is pointing out that we have no defence for natural disasters. Back in the day ducking under your desk seemed effective but now almost 80 percent of americans feel the method is not going to protect you from anything.

Reflection to Class Disscussion on Education

    I feel this class disscussion did not go as well as the ones in the past. I feel this way because i felt some people were cut off and not given a chance to be heard to the extent of some others. I was one of these people when trying to express a point about motivating students was cut off and not heard to the entirety of my point. So id like to express it now. I believe parents can be a huge factor in students schooling. The parents do not have to do much but go online and check for missing assignments when they discover some,they should restrict their child until the work is completed.  I think this will change your childs attitude towards work. But this alone will not help, teachers should not put deadlines on work so students will always have a chance to do it. Many of my classmates had awesome ideals on education and how we can improve it. But i did not hear one say that we should increase the number of days in school. Increasing school days would be very benefitial. We would not forget things over a short break and it would give us a chance to learn more. In the next disscussion i hope everyone can be heard and not interupted.

Response to the Classroom Disscussion on Healthcare

             I believe the classroom disscusion went very well. At first i was a bit skeptical about it, but now i see its just about peers sitting around having a conversation on the topic at hand. Through out the disscussion i enjoyed the fact that everyone was heard and got to express their feelings about healthcare. Alot of interesting point were brought up like is health care a right or a priveledge. On this topic opinions were split down the room and we had alot of interesting rhetoric. Personally i believe its a right, because some people cannot afford healthcare no matter how hard working they are. We also disscussed the new healthcare law and its legitimacy. Many people believed it was not perfect and i agree. But passing this law would just be the first step. Rome wasnt built in a day and people need to understand that. Overall i feel i learned alot about healthcare because of this disscussion and i look forward to the next one.

Local Monkey in Mishima Japan Makes Another Daunting Escape,WHIPS response

              A Macague monkey named Lucky escaped from his cage in Mishima, Japan on January 24. The male monkey resides in a nature park within Shizuoka Prefecture. Apparently a keeper was cleaning Lucky's cage and he decided to go AWOL. This is not the first time this has occured, last year the monkey went missing for up to 2 months within Central Japan. Lucky terrorized many towns and bit up to 120 people. This time they caught a break and he was recovered a day after the attempted AWOL. It was reported that the monkey was easy to capture, officials discovered him at a public park, simply called his name and, the monkey responded. Well i guess the park will keep an eye on Lucky from now on seeing as how lucky they have been in recovering him. I believe this puts a new meaning to the words going ape.

'1 down and 534 to go',it is absolutely,absolutely unacceptable to shoot indiscriminately.''target only politicians and their staffand leave regular citizens alone he says.Police raided his home and came up on multiple weapons,while his firearms license is suspended.
What kind of sick person does it take to make threats such as these?How will people like this be put to a stop?

Police in Arlington, Massachusetts seized weapons from a businessman who wrote a blog post threatening lawmakers.
